Howaya. My name is Oisin Davis, aka The Ratburger. I’m a Dublin based music and venue manager who loves to cook.
WHAT’S THE STORY WITH THIS SITE THEN?
Every week I upload a different tried and tested recipe that’s either one of my own or given to me by a guest restuarant chef or fellow music industry degenerate. All the recipes are easy to use and I always tell you exactly where to go to get all the ingredients.
WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN COOK?
I’ve been working in the service and music industry since I was a wee lad. All I’m good for is putting on gigs, lashing out the drinks and cooking some food. My father’s family come from Jersey City, which is the most ethnically diverse city in America and we all love to cook, both professionally and at home. Gorging myself on food and drink is of paramount importance to me and now I want to share this love with you shower of wasters.
As my Uncle Jimmy says, “If you can read, you can cook.” It doesn’t bother me if you spent the last ten years smoking crack and you now have the brain power of a jellyfish, you can still bloody well cook.
Anyone can put a meal together and if you can read one of my recipes, then you can cook.
